Bryan performed ceremonial coin toss at Jets-Bills game as part of tourism marketing partnership

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. performed the ceremonial coin toss on October 14, 2024, before the New York Jets played the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium, according to Government House.

Government House said the Jets invited Bryan to take part in the pregame ceremony as part of a marketing partnership between the franchise and the Virgin Islands government to promote tourism in the territory across the northeastern United States.

The administration said the Jets agreement was part of a broader effort to increase awareness of the U.S. Virgin Islands as a travel destination and support demand for additional airlift. Government House also said the territory has marketing partnerships with the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Bucks.
