VIFEMS Director Admitted to Hospital



The Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services (VIFEMS) has reported that their Director, Daryl George Sr., was recently admitted to a medical facility due to a health concern.

Given the circumstances, VIFEMS is urging the community for patience and consideration. The department released a statement, saying, “We appreciate your understanding and ask that you respect the privacy of Mr. George and his family at this time.” They also reminded the public to refrain from sharing unconfirmed information, noting that any official statements about Mr. George’s health will be communicated directly by VIFEMS.

Expressing gratitude, the department shared, “We value the unwavering support and trust of our community. Your thoughts and cooperation mean a lot as VIFEMS remains dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of the region’s residents. Sources close to the situation informed that Mr. George faced a health setback on Friday, leading to his hospitalization.
