Shooting in St. Thomas Leaves One Injured

A shooting incident in the vicinity of Moravian Highway, near Electric World, in St. Thomas resulted in multiple gunshot injuries to a Hispanic male this past Friday, as reported by the Virgin Islands Police Department. The incident, which took place around 4:29 p.m., prompted immediate responses from local law enforcement.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers learned from witnesses that the victim had been rushed to the Schneider Regional Medical Center prior to their arrival. At the hospital, the police were able to speak with the injured man, who was able to provide only limited information about the incident. Details regarding the severity of his injuries and the identities of those involved are currently limited.

The investigation has been assigned to the VIPD’s Criminal Investigation Bureau, which is actively seeking information and working to identify the assailant(s).
