Major Theft at Drive Green VI: Eight Rental Vehicles Dismantled in Grand Larceny Incident

ST. THOMAS — A significant case of grand larceny at Drive Green VI, a renowned vehicle rental service in Lindberg Bay, St. Thomas, is currently under investigation by the V.I. Police Department, as announced on Thursday.

This alarming incident, which came to light on January 8, involves the unauthorized stripping of vital parts from multiple rental vehicles, causing considerable unease among the St. Thomas community.

The V.I. Police Department was alerted to this serious situation by the 911 Emergency Call Center, leading to the immediate deployment of officers to the Drive Green VI facility.

On arrival, the police team gathered from the Drive Green VI management that critical components were illegally removed from no less than eight of their vehicles, a severe blow to the business’s operations.

The investigation of this brazen theft is now being spearheaded by the VIPD’s Criminal Investigation Bureau. The team of investigators is diligently working to piece together the events of the crime and to pinpoint the perpetrators.
