Stephen Swanton clinched the Elite division title at the Virgin Islands Cycling Federation’s (VICF) “Riding to the Rings” Time Trial, held on Sunday morning at the east end of St. Croix. The event, celebrating the Olympic Movement, saw cyclists competing across various categories, including Elite, Expert, Sport, Masters, and Women.

The race, part of the VICF’s tribute to Olympic Month, started and finished at Castaways in Estate Solitude. Cyclists rode a challenging 13-mile counter-clockwise loop around St. Croix’s east end. Despite overcast, humid, and windy conditions, the participants delivered impressive performances.

Stephen Swanton emerged victorious in the Elite category with a commendable time of 37:33, followed closely by Glenn Massiah, who finished in 38:18. Robin Seila, competing in the Expert division, secured third overall with a time of 38:47, showcasing his skill by outpacing several competitors.
