WAPA said Chief Operating Officer Michael Sharp would resign Jan. 13

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on January 12, 2023, that Michael Sharp, its chief operating officer for electric operations, had resigned.

WAPA said Sharp's last day would be January 13, 2023. The authority said Ashley Bryan, director of transmission and distribution, would serve as interim chief operating officer for electric operations after Sharp's departure.

The release said Sharp had served at WAPA for seven months.
