WAPA closed Sunny Isles customer service office early on Nov. 14, 2022 after waterline rupture

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its customer service office at Sunny Isles on St. Croix closed early on Nov. 14, 2022 because of a disruption in water service caused by a ruptured waterline.
WAPA said it would not perform disconnections for unpaid bills on Nov. 14, 2022 while the office remained closed for the rest of the day. The authority said disconnections for unpaid bills would resume on Nov. 15, 2022.
The authority said customers could continue to conduct transactions by phone or online, and could also make payments at FirstBank, Banco Popular and Bank of St. Croix branches.
