Veterans Affairs town hall meeting scheduled on St. Croix for April 12, 2018

The Virgin Islands Office of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced a Veterans Town Hall Meeting for Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on St. Croix.

The meeting was scheduled to be held in the Benny and Martha Benjamin Conference Room at the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center.

According to the announcement, the meeting was intended to allow the U.S. Veterans Affairs leadership team for the San Juan region and the Virgin Islands Office of Veterans Affairs to hear from veterans and their family members about available services and to provide feedback on issues raised.

The announcement said the forum would also include information on healthcare services, the Choice Program, compensation and pension benefits, memorial benefits and other services.
