WAPA scheduled emergency governing board meeting for April 28, 2023

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority scheduled an emergency Governing Board meeting for Friday, April 28, 2023, at 9 a.m. Atlantic Standard Time.
WAPA said the meeting would be held via Microsoft Teams and would be open to the public.
According to the published agenda, the board was set to enter executive session for legal matters and then consider two action items: approval of a promissory note between WAPA and the Government of the Virgin Islands, and approval of a transition agreement governing settlement, termination and title to Vitol Infrastructure.
