WAPA scheduled emergency board meeting for Dec. 23, 2022

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled an emergency Governing Board meeting for 12:30 p.m. AST on Dec. 23, 2022.
According to the notice published on Dec. 22, 2022, the purpose of the meeting was to seek authorization for spot purchases of propane from additional suppliers and to extend the time for previous temporary alternative propane suppliers.
The agenda also listed an executive session for a personnel matter. WAPA said the meeting would be open to the public and held via Zoom.
