WAPA said online payment system resumed service

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on October 17, 2022, that its electronic payment systems were back online and available for customer use.
WAPA said customers should update saved bookmarks to a new payment portal at `https://virg-egov.aspgov.com/Click2GovCX/index.html`. The agency said the site was also accessible through `www.viwapa.vi` by selecting “Pay Your Bill Online.”
The authority said some customers had experienced a temporary interruption on mobile devices when accessing the new website, and that the issue had been resolved.
WAPA said customers could also make payments by phone through its automatic bill-pay system or by check or money order at drop boxes at customer service offices and at branches of First Bank, Banco Popular and Bank of St. Croix.
