Bryan administration honors valedictorians and salutatorians at St. Croix ceremony

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. and Education Commissioner Racquel Berry-Benjamin held an awards ceremony at Government House on St. Croix on July 26, 2019, to recognize valedictorian and salutatorian graduates from high schools across the U.S. Virgin Islands.

According to Government House, district insular superintendents Stefan Jürgen of the St. Thomas-St. John District and Carlos McGregor of the St. Croix District addressed the students during the event.

Berry-Benjamin told the students to continue learning and encouraged them to help address problems in the territory. Bryan congratulated the students on their academic achievement.

Government House said students from the territory’s public, private and parochial schools, as well as adult continuing education programs, received tokens of appreciation and attended a luncheon with family members after the ceremony.
