Government House and Veterans Affairs scheduled April 3 event for Vietnam veterans on St. Croix

Government House and the Virgin Islands Office of Veterans Affairs announced on March 29, 2019, that they would hold a National Vietnam Veterans Day event for the territory’s Vietnam veterans on April 3 at Government House on St. Croix.

The event was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and was open to in-country veterans and era veterans, according to the announcement.

The government said free boat transportation to St. Croix would be provided for Vietnam veterans from the St. Thomas-St. John district. Veterans needing transportation from St. Thomas were asked to sign up at the St. Thomas Office of Veterans Affairs by 2 p.m. on April 2, 2019.
