Bryan issued statement after Senate committee considered four Cabinet nominees

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on Feb. 28, 2019, after the Legislature of the Virgin Islands' Committee on Rules and Judiciary held a hearing on four Cabinet nominees.

In the statement, Bryan said the confirmation process was an essential part of representative government and thanked Chairwoman Alicia Barnes and committee members for giving favorable recommendations to commissioner and director nominees for consideration by the Committee of the Whole.

Bryan also said he looked forward to a later confirmation opportunity for the Education commissioner nominee.
