The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on August 9, 2023, that it had provided the 35th Legislature, through the Office of Senate President Novelle Francis Jr., with a monthly report on progress through July on the proposed acquisition of propane supply infrastructure from Vitol.

WAPA said the report was part of its practice of providing monthly updates to the Legislature during the acquisition process.

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Andrew Smith said in the release that the authority was sharing the reports to keep legislative stakeholders informed.
