WAPA governing board scheduled emergency meeting for May 8, 2020

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on May 7, 2020, that its governing board would hold an emergency meeting at 9:30 a.m. on May 8, 2020.

WAPA said the meeting would be conducted by teleconference and would be open to the public.

According to the published agenda, the board was set to consider automated metering infrastructure restoration, Rural Utility Services Series 2015A bonds, and emergency generation for St. John involving Wartsila LLC.
