WAPA scheduled Oct. 14 outage for about 37 St. Croix customers in Estate Glynn
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said electrical service was scheduled to be interrupted on St. Croix on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for about 37 customers in Estate Glynn on a portion of Feeder 6B.
WAPA said the planned outage was intended to allow crews to transfer conductors to newly installed composite poles as part of transmission and distribution system work.
The authority also advised motorists traveling through the work area to use caution.
