WAPA governing board scheduled emergency meeting for April 27, 2022
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its governing board scheduled an emergency meeting for April 27, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. The meeting was set to be held by Zoom and was open to the public.
According to the published agenda, the board was to consider Planning and Economic Development Committee items including a vendor name change and increased equipment rental cost under Messer Gas contracts SC-15-16 and SC-36-17, general liability insurance, and a 13-week extension for Aggreko.
Finance and Audit Committee action items included provisional extensions of Banco Popular lines of credit and a standby letter of credit, a provisional extension of the maturity of First Bank lines of credit and an overdraft facility, revised banking resolutions, an amendment to contract SC-31-21 for comprehensive security, and development of a comprehensive succession planning program.
The agenda also listed an executive director's report before adjournment.
