Government offices remained open Aug. 10 as VITEMA monitored Tropical Cyclone Six

Government House said on Aug. 10, 2021, that all Virgin Islands government offices would remain open and maintain regular operating hours that day as the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency monitored Tropical Cyclone Six.

According to the National Hurricane Center's 11 a.m. update cited in the announcement, tropical storm conditions were expected in parts of the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico that afternoon.
