Education officials briefed Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. on student performance and outcomes
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. and senior staff met with Education Commissioner Raquel Berry-Benjamin and her team to discuss student performance and outcomes, according to a Government House statement published on Nov. 29, 2019.
The statement said the briefing was part of the administration’s "Cradle to Career and Beyond" initiative, which it described as an effort to align educational outcomes with workforce needs in the Virgin Islands.
According to the statement, the initiative was intended to include early childhood education, K-12 education, post-secondary education and workforce development, along with partnerships involving philanthropic organizations, businesses, parents and the nonprofit sector.
