The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on September 15, 2021, that its governing board had scheduled an emergency meeting for September 16, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. The meeting was set to be held by Zoom and was open to the public.

According to the published agenda, the board was to consider action items including the 2022 employee benefits renewal, an amendment to BDO contract SC-02-21, the authority’s fiscal year 2022 electric system operating budget, the fiscal year 2022 electric system capital budget, the fiscal year 2022 water system capital budget, a price increase for the Container Port Underground Project under SC-22-21, and a change order for the Haugland VI composite pole contract, SC-14-20.
