Bryan said stay-at-home order would be extended to Sept. 8

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. said on Aug. 29, 2020, that he would sign an executive order extending the U.S. Virgin Islands' stay-at-home order.

The existing restrictions had been set to expire at 6 a.m. on Aug. 31, 2020. Bryan said the new order would extend those restrictions for an additional week, until 8 a.m. on Sept. 8, 2020.

Government House said Bryan was expected to provide additional details during his coronavirus update scheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2020.
