Bryan asked Virgin Islanders to observe Nov. 26 as a day of reflection after Thanksgiving
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. said during the Government House weekly press briefing on Nov. 22, 2021, that he was asking Virgin Islanders to observe Friday, Nov. 26, as "a Thanksgiving Day of Reflection" and to consider how the Covid-19 pandemic had affected their lives while spending time with family and friends over the holiday weekend.
Bryan also said government offices would be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26. He urged residents to celebrate Thanksgiving safely and follow public-health guidelines.
