Finance Department said payroll processing glitch delayed direct deposits on July 27, 2023

The Virgin Islands Department of Finance said on July 27, 2023, that it had discovered and resolved a technical glitch that caused a slight delay in direct-deposit payroll payments to government employees.

In a statement issued that morning, the department said employees would receive their direct-deposit payments by noon on July 27, 2023.
