Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a proclamation on May 6, 2020, designating May 7, 2020, as National Day of Prayer in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The proclamation said the observance carried the theme "Pray God’s Glory," based on Habakkuk 2:14.

Government House said the Government Access Channel would rebroadcast the Hour of Prayer at Government House at 10 a.m. on May 7, 2020, and a compilation of prayers from Virgin Islands clergy from the March 30, 2020, "U.S. Virgin Islands Day of Prayer, Fasting and Reflection" at 3 p.m. that day.

Government House also said the channel would air a video of Bryan reading the proclamation at various times on May 7, 2020.
