Governor Bryan was out of the territory from May 7 to May 16
Government House said on May 8, 2021, that Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. was out of the U.S. Virgin Islands from May 7 through May 16 to celebrate his anniversary and attend business meetings in Miami.
The statement said Bryan would monitor the government's investigation into noxious odors on St. Croix while he was away.
Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach served as acting governor during Bryan's absence.
