Government House announced weekly virtual town hall series with Cabinet members

Government House said on July 13, 2021, that it was launching a weekly livestream program, "Inside the Cabinet," to allow residents to ask questions and raise issues with Cabinet members.

The first program was scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, and was to feature Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte.

According to the announcement, Boschulte was expected to discuss lessons from the July 6, 2021, cruise visit and coordination between the Tourism and Health departments to avoid a COVID-19 surge tied to reopened cruise traffic.

Government House said the program would be livestreamed at 6 p.m. each Wednesday on its Facebook page and that residents could submit questions during the broadcast through the comments section or in advance by email. The announcement said Human Services Commissioner Kimberley Causey-Gomez was scheduled to appear the following week.
