WAPA board scheduled monthly meeting for June 24

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s governing board said it would hold its regular monthly meeting on June 24, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom.

According to the June 21 notice, the agenda included planning and economic development committee items on addenda for tree-trimming work on St. John, St. Thomas and St. Croix, and a power lineman training and development program with Electric Cities of Georgia.

Finance and audit committee items included a proposed contract with Sustainable Capital for municipal advisory services and a fiscal 2022 budget resolution. The agenda also listed an executive director’s report and an executive session for a legal matter.
