WAPA said CFO Jacob Lewis resigned; Lorraine Kelly named interim CFO

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on December 1, 2023, that Chief Financial Officer Jacob "Jake" Lewis had resigned to pursue another professional opportunity.

WAPA said Lewis would remain with the authority through December 31, 2023, to assist with the transition.

The authority said Lorraine Kelly, its director of accounting and comptroller, would serve as interim chief financial officer.

According to the announcement, Kelly had more than 30 years of finance and accounting management experience and had previously held chief financial officer roles, including at ASHINC Corporation and Tatum LLC.
