Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith scheduled for March 25 Government House 'Press Box' interview

Government House announced on March 19, 2021, that Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith, chair of President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force, was scheduled to appear on the "Press Box" program at 5:30 p.m. on March 25, 2021.

According to the announcement, Nunez-Smith was to be interviewed by Assistant Health Commissioner Dr. Nicole Syms on the Government House Facebook page.

The discussion was set to focus on COVID-19 vaccination safety, the importance of getting vaccinated, the different vaccines available and concerns people may have about receiving a vaccine.

Government House said Nunez-Smith was one of 12 people selected in early February 2021 by President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to serve on the task force.
