WAPA board said CEO Andrew Smith resigned, effective June 30

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s governing board said on June 3, 2024, that Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Andrew Smith had submitted his resignation.
The board said Smith’s last day at the authority would be June 30, 2024, under the terms of his contract.
In the announcement, the board said it was working to ensure a leadership transition while the authority continued executing its strategic plan.
