WAPA announced daylong road closure on St. Croix for water-line work

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said Centerline Road west of the Emancipation Drive intersection on St. Croix would be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on January 13, 2024, for the rest of the day.
WAPA said motorists were advised to use alternate routes during the closure.
According to the notice, the traffic diversion was scheduled to allow water system maintenance crews to continue Clean Water Action work and complete installation of lead-free components to the service line in Stoney Ground.
