Bryan completed trade trip to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. completed a trip to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados, Government House said on April 3, 2024.

According to the administration, Bryan met in St. Vincent with Saboto Caesar, the agriculture minister, to discuss trade ties between the U.S. Virgin Islands and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The discussions included possible increases in produce exports from St. Vincent to the Virgin Islands, opportunities in St. Vincent’s cannabis industry, and cooperation in other areas including sand exchange and educational opportunities for Vincentian students to study agriculture and other industries in the Virgin Islands.

Government House said Bryan also toured a medicinal cannabis operation in St. Vincent that it described as world-certified and already exporting to several European countries.
