WAPA scheduled governing board meeting for Aug. 25, 2022

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its governing board was scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. by videoconference, with conference room locations listed on St. Thomas at the Al Cohen Conference Room and on St. Croix at the Sunny Isles Business Office conference room, second floor.
According to the published agenda, the meeting was set to include a call to order and quorum, adoption and approval of the agenda, a Planning and Economic Development Committee segment, the executive director's report, and adjournment.
The agenda listed three action items: PR-03-22, a no-cost scope adjustment to the Donald C. Francois gas insulated switch gear; a no-cost time extension of the onsite environmental contract; and a second short-term extension of the Aggreko lease agreement.
