Public Works began installing 19 traffic signals on St. Thomas and St. Croix

The Virgin Islands Department of Public Works began installing 19 traffic signals on St. Thomas and St. Croix during the week of March 19, 2018, according to a Government House announcement published March 23, 2018.

The announcement said contracts were also being prepared for the installation and repair of traffic signals at another 20 intersections.

Motorists were advised to use caution at locations where traffic lights were being installed and at intersections that still did not have working signals.
