Bryan scheduled 21 meetings during Washington trip from Oct. 29 to Oct. 31
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. scheduled 21 meetings in Washington, D.C., from Oct. 29 through Oct. 31, 2019, according to Government House.
The schedule was set to begin on the morning of Oct. 29 with a meeting on Capitol Hill with Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett.
Government House said Bryan also scheduled meetings with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi; Housing and Urban Development Deputy Assistant Secretary David Woll Jr.; officials at the Interior Department and the Office of Insular Affairs; Health and Human Services Deputy Secretary Eric Hargan; House Majority Whip James Clyburn; Treasury Deputy Secretary Justin Muzinich; Reps. Daren Soto, Hakeem Jeffries, Bennie Thompson and Maxine Waters; FEMA Acting Administrator Pete Gaynor; Sens. Joe Manchin III and Lisa Murkowski; officials from the Democratic Governors Association; and Clay Armentrout, legislative director and counsel for Sen. Richard Shelby.
Government House said Chief of Staff Karl Knight, Senior Legal Counsel David Bornn, Communications Director Richard Motta Jr., Office of Disaster Recovery Director Adrienne Williams-Octalien and Housing Finance Authority Executive Director Daryl Griffith were among the staff traveling with Bryan and participating in the meetings.
