Government House published list of social media accounts for more than 30 Virgin Islands agencies

Government House said on May 7, 2019, that it had compiled a list of active social media pages for more than 30 Virgin Islands government agencies, departments and semi-autonomous agencies.

The announcement said the list included Executive Branch offices, local departments, semi-autonomous agencies and the 33rd Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Agencies named in the notice included Government House, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the departments of Education, Tourism, Health, Human Services, Labor, Agriculture, Planning and Natural Resources, Licensing and Consumer Affairs, Justice and Public Works, as well as the Virgin Islands Police Department, Virgin Islands Fire Services and the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency.

The list also included semi-autonomous entities such as the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority, Virgin Islands Port Authority, Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority, Government Employees Retirement System, WTJX, the University of the Virgin Islands and the Virgin Islands Next Generation Network.
