Bryan issues statement on death of Ann E. Abramson

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on Jan. 26, 2020, on the death of Ann E. Abramson.

In the statement, Bryan said Abramson was "a trailblazer for Crucian women in business and politics" and "a pillar of the Frederiksted community." He said her contributions to the territory's cultural and political life reflected achievement and perseverance.

Bryan and first lady Yolanda Bryan also extended condolences to Abramson's family, including her son, Rudy, and others mourning her death.
