WAPA scheduled St. Thomas power outage for Sept. 2, 2023

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on August 23, 2023, that it scheduled a power outage on St. Thomas for September 2, 2023, from about 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The outage was set to affect customers on feeders 7E and 9E.
WAPA said the outage was planned to allow safe manhole entry during transmission line troubleshooting.
