WAPA lifted precautionary boil-water advisory in both districts
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on September 28, 2019, that it lifted precautionary boil-water advisories in both districts that had been issued ahead of Tropical Storm Karen.
WAPA said water-quality laboratory technicians monitored the system and confirmed that potable water distributed by the authority continued to meet drinking-water standards.
The advisories had been issued as a precaution in case storm conditions affected pressure in the water distribution system.
