Bryan orders flags at half-staff after death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on September 18, 2020, on the death of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and ordered that flags be flown at half-staff in the U.S. Virgin Islands until the date of her interment.
In the statement, Bryan said Ginsburg was "a fearless fighter for women’s rights throughout her career on the court and a guiding light for civil rights and gender equality advocates worldwide."
He also said, "The entire Virgin Islands community joins the nation and the rest of the world in mourning her passing."
