Bryan issues statement on death of Netfa "Tafa" Romain

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. on Aug. 19, 2021, issued a statement mourning the death of Netfa “Tafa” Romain.

In the statement, Bryan said he knew Romain from his time at TV2 and described him as “the epitome of a Virgin Islands Ambassador.” Bryan said Romain was proud of the Virgin Islands and used his talents to highlight the achievements of other Virgin Islanders.

Bryan and first lady Yolanda Bryan extended condolences to Romain’s family and friends, including his wife, Natasha, and his children.
