Bryan nominates Judge Harold W.L. Willocks to Virgin Islands Supreme Court

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on January 22, 2024, during his State of the Territory address that he had nominated Judge Harold W.L. Willocks to serve as a justice on the Virgin Islands Supreme Court.

Government House said Willocks had more than two decades of legal experience, including service as presiding judge of the Superior Court, chief public defender and assistant attorney general. The administration also said he had served on the Superior Court for more than two terms.

In the announcement, Bryan said the Virgin Islands Supreme Court "has been a pillar of justice and fairness" and called Willocks "a jurist of impeccable caliber."
