WAPA Marked Lineman Appreciation Day on April 18, 2022
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said April 18, 2022, that it was observing Lineman Appreciation Day and recognizing the work of its line crews.
In the statement, Ashley Bryan, director of WAPA's transmission and distribution unit, said the crews had played a key role in hurricane recovery, outage response, pole replacements after vehicle crashes, and line-clearing work.
