St. Thomas outages were scheduled Jan. 9 and Jan. 10 for grid restoration work
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said contractor crews were scheduled to carry out permanent restoration work on parts of the St. Thomas electrical grid on January 9 and January 10, 2019, requiring isolated service interruptions.
On January 9, WAPA said about 75 customers in Hull Bay on a portion of Feeder 7A were scheduled to lose service from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also on January 9, about 30 customers in Bolongo Bay on a portion of Feeder 10B were scheduled for an outage from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On January 10, WAPA said about 35 customers in Estate Contant on a portion of Feeder 6A were scheduled for an outage from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
