Bryan attended Sea Trade Conference in Miami from April 8 to 11

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. attended the annual Sea Trade Conference in Miami from April 8 to April 11, 2024, leading a delegation of Virgin Islands officials, according to Government House.

Government House said Bryan was scheduled to take part in a panel discussion on the future of cruise tourism in the Caribbean, meet with executives from major cruise lines and maritime companies, and attend a reception promoting the U.S. Virgin Islands to industry partners.

The administration said the delegation planned to highlight the territory’s investments in ports and infrastructure and its stated commitment to sustainable tourism practices.

During Bryan’s absence, Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach served as acting governor.
