Bryan scheduled third USVI Community Business Forum for May 26, 2021

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. scheduled the third session of the USVI Community Business Forum for Wednesday, May 26, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., according to a Government House announcement published May 24, 2021.

Government House said the virtual forum would focus on financial relief available to businesses through the American Rescue Plan and on advisory services offered by local economic agencies.

The agenda included presentations from the University of the Virgin Islands School of Business, the Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority and UVI's Research and Technology Park.

Government House said the forum also would include information on the Emergency Rental Assistance Program and the Homeowner Assistance Program offered through the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority.

The event was to be held on Zoom and streamed on the Government House Facebook page. Government House said the forum was free.
