WAPA named Lorraine Kelly director of accounting and comptroller

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on November 22, 2022, that Lorraine Kelly had joined the utility as director of accounting and comptroller.
WAPA said Kelly brought 30 years of finance and accounting management experience. According to the authority, her previous roles included auditor at Grant Thornton in the United Kingdom, partner of finance and technology at Tatum LLC, senior director at Verizon, and chief financial officer at ASHINC Corporation.
The authority said Kelly held a bachelor of arts honors degree in business studies with a concentration in finance and had taught ethics and accounting as an adjunct professor in Master of Business Administration programs at several universities in Georgia. WAPA also said she received a directorship certification from the University of Georgia in 2011.
