WAPA received bronze-level Cigna Healthy Workforce designation

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on February 13, 2023, that it had received Cigna’s bronze-level Healthy Workforce Designation.
WAPA said the designation recognized its workplace wellness efforts for employees. The authority said those efforts included health and wellness activities, discounted gym memberships, webinar sessions for employees and their families, and participation in fitness events hosted by the Virgin Islands government’s Personnel Division, including Battle of the Agencies.
The designation, formerly known as the Cigna Well-Being Award, evaluates organizations on leadership and culture, program foundations, program execution, and whole-person health, according to the announcement.
