Bryan traveled to Miami for meetings with cruise line executives
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. traveled to Miami on January 17, 2019, for two days of introductory meetings with cruise industry executives, Government House said.
Bryan was accompanied by Tourism commissioner nominee Joseph Boschulte. Government House said the governor was scheduled to meet with the chief executives of Carnival Corporation, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Disney Cruise Line and MSC (USA), whose ships call annually in St. Thomas and St. Croix.
Government House said Bryan and Boschulte planned to discuss the future of the U.S. Virgin Islands tourism sector and the territory's partnership with the cruise industry.
Bryan was scheduled to return to the territory on January 18, 2019. Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. served as acting governor during his absence.
